The Cause For The Canonisation Of Father Bill Atkinson
Hospitalized and near death, tragedy gave way to an incredible journey for the first quadriplegic priest in the history of the Catholic Church.
The San Salvador Council works toward greater awareness of the life of Father Bill, a Philadelphia priest whose life is an inspiration to us all.
Father Bill’s banner has been donated by the council for permanent display at St. Paul Parish in South Philadelphia, where it is also utilized in the annual Italian Market Festival procession of the Saints, as well as the annual healing mass in February.
